CASTROL "TIME ATTACK" Championship . 2012 - Update after Round 2

The 2012 New Zealand Superbike Road Race Championship will see a new innovation. running within the championship . The Castrol Power 1 "Time Attack" championship will be scored during qualifying over all championship classes at all rounds of the series . Points will be awarded to the top six qualifiers in in each class at each round. 


Each "Time Attack" overall winner will receive an engraved Castrol Sports Watch (Left) at the end of the season.

Total prize value pool package over for the  Castrol Power 1 " Time Attack "is over $1000.

First round of the Castrol "Time Attack" qualifies was held on Saturday 7th January at Ruapuna Powerbuilt Raceway in Christchurch. Then moved to Timaru last weekend and will head to Invercargill next weekend, before a break in the season finishing off in the North Island at Hampton Downs and Taupo Raceway during the last two weekends in March. Points progress below after two rounds.
